Have you considered writing an essay on climate justice through the lens of EU or international law?
ELSA Maastricht is happy to announce this year’s essay competition in collaboration with the Maastricht Student Law Review! This is your chance to engage in an essential, timely discussion within the legal academic community.

The core theme is the role of law and in achieving climate justice. This complex issue can be approached from numerous critical angles, including trade, energy, or migration, to mention a few.

Requirements:
Word count: 3000-15000 (OSCOLA referencing style).
Submission period: December 1st – February 1st
Eligibility: We welcome both newly written essays and old papers that fit the competition’s theme and meet the requirements.
