ELSA Maastricht is the local group of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), the world’s largest independent law students’ association. We offer academic, professional, and social opportunities to law students at Maastricht University.

Who can join ELSA Maastricht?
All students enrolled at Maastricht University, especially those studying law or related fields, can join ELSA Maastricht. We welcome both bachelor’s and master’s students.
How can I become a member?
You can become a member by filling out the registration form on our website and paying the annual membership fee. We also accept in-person registration at our stands during introduction weeks or events.

How can I get involved in organizing events or projects?
We’re always looking for motivated members! You can join one of our teams or apply for a position as an officer or director. Keep an eye on our social media or newsletter for open calls.
Do I need to be a law student to participate?
While most of our events are tailored to law students, anyone with an interest in legal topics and human rights is welcome to join and participate.
How much is the membership fee?
The annual membership fee is €15, while the semestral membership fee is €7.5. Both grant access to local and international ELSA benefits thoughout the duration of the memberships.
